RACING EXPERIENCE:

I started racing motorcycles in Germany, about a month after my first PCA autocross in 1989. I continued racing MC, and autocrossing, while I attended college at Embry-Riddle University in Daytona Beach. I now successfully campaign my "G-class" 911 in SCCA and PCA racing. I just bought the Reynard RF-84 (as a training tool); 2 victories in TT, and I expect to run my first real race next month. I otherwise have a long list of autocross and road race victories including Parade ‘97, PCA Club Racing, and SCCA club racing.

GMT EXPERIENCE:

My father started me working on cars at the age of 4. When I was 9, he bought a car for me to strip; to learn about cars. At the age of 12 he bought my first restoration project, a ‘48 Ford Delux sedan, with a ‘51 Merc flathead engine. My first car was a ‘66 Bug, which I proceeded to Cal-Look. With the exception of the first year I owned my 911, I have always wrenched on my own vehicles. While in the military I was trained in many technical and mechanical fields; as a communications specialist. I also received training from Pep Boys, while employed there; and worked for a short time in the parts Dept. for Circle Porsche/Audi, in Long Beach, Ca. I am currently self employed as an independent truck driver. I have been, and am, a regular contributor to my local PCA newsletters, and as a photographer for Sportscar Magazine.
